Funding

The purpose of the Research Office funding area is to assist Macquarie University researchers with their applications for funding. You will find information on Macquarie University internal schemes, on Australian Research Council (ARC) schemes, National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) schemes, and on other external schemes.

Applications (with the exception of ARC Discovery-Projects):

  • External funding schemes - final applications must be submitted at least one week prior to the closing date set by the external funding body - applications must be submitted with a signed MQ Cover Sheet (RTF)
  • ARC Applications (with the exception of Discovery-Projects) - MQ ARC Coversheet (RTF)
  • ARC Discovery-Projects - no coversheet required - final applications are batched at the Divisional level and submitted with a single Dean sign-off, Head of Department signatures should be submitted on the ARC Certification page with the draft application

All applications must be submitted through the Research Office.  Applications can be endorsed only by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) or delegate.
