Macquarie University Research Fellowships Scheme

Up to six postdoctoral research fellowships commencing in 2010 are available from the Scheme. Positions will be awarded on a competitive basis and will be full time for three years. Applicants must have been awarded their PhD on or after 1 March 2004, or will submit their thesis by 8 July 2009.

Expression of Interest - 29 April 2009 - CLOSED

Full proposal - 8 July 2009 5pm - Open by Invitation to Shortlisted Candidates Only

Referee Report - 12 August 2009 5pm

Sponsor and Host Department Statements - 12 August 2009 5pm

Independent Reviewer Reports - 12 August 2009 5pm (NB: Report Forms sent to Reviewers by Research Office)

Apple Macintosh users opening RTF files:
To help avoid formatting issues, save the RTF file to your desktop, open Microsoft Word, then go to 'File' and select 'Open'. In the pop up panel, make sure the dropdown option next to 'Show' is set to 'All Readable Documents'. Now you can select the RTF file and open it.

2. Contact your proposed host Faculty to seek their endorsement of your application

3. Download and complete the Expression of Interest template

4. Submit your Expression of Interest via Macquarie University's online recruiting system


Applications from external researchers
