Macquarie University Postgraduate Research Fund Round 2 - 2006

The primary goal of the Macquarie University Postgraduate Research Fund (PGRF) is to provide the University’s postgraduate students with the means to enhance their postgraduate experience and add value to their thesis. The Scheme is run biannually (March and August) and applications are considered on a competitive basis taking into account individual merit and need. The maximum value of a PGRF award is $4,000.

Postgraduate research students are eligible for PGRF funding over a two year period, and in exceptional cases over three years. A student may normally hold only one PGRF award during the life of their research candidature; however, a second application may be considered in exceptional situations. Applicants wishing to submit a second application for PGRF support must obtain written permission to do so from the Chair of the Research Training Panel, via the Research Office. Such written permission must be obtained prior to submitting the second application, and must be submitted with the application.

To help avoid formatting issues, save the RTF file to your desktop, open Microsoft Word, then go to 'File' and select 'Open'. In the pop up panel, make sure the dropdown option next to 'Show' is set to 'All Readable Documents'. Now you can select the RTF file and open it.
