Major Milestones

The IRIS project team have committed to the following milestones:

  1. Central (Research office) reporting of publications output, by 1st October (achieved)
  2. Trial of on-line applications for Safety Net Grant Scheme, perhaps Safety Net – 1st December (trial held on Monday 4th December)
  3. Researchers and HDR Students can review and update publications and other outputs – small trial in October, full availability by January 2007 (status: full rollout should be achieved in early December)
  4. Active research grant details available for viewing – 1st December (status: testing of converted data underway, availability date to be confirmed)
  5. Deans and senior managers can access graphical reports –1st December (software availability has delayed till 2007)

Planning is underway to determine dates for the following deliverables:

  • Research projects management on-line (planned for Q2 2007)
  • Integration with on-line ethics applications, which are anticipated to use the NEAF form
  • Availability of additional internal grant and ethics applications online (planned for Q4 2007)
  • Pilot of the Portia supervisory management system (pilot planned for Q4 2007)
