Faculty of Business and Economics PhD Scholarship

PhD scholarships are available for Australian and international students in the Faculty of Business and Economics,  Departments of Accounting & Finance, Actuarial Studies, Business and Economics. Applicants should have completed the equivalent research qualifications of an Australian four-year undergraduate degree with second class division 1 honours.

The scholarship pays a stipend currently $A32,500 per annum, tax exempt (2008).  The tenure of the scholarship is 3 years full time, subject to satisfactory progress.

International students should note that tuition fees and overseas health cover are not covered by this stipend-only award and they are responsible for the payment of these items.

Apple Macintosh users opening Referee Report (RTF files):
To help avoid formatting issues, save the RTF file to your desktop, open Microsoft Word, then go to 'File' and select 'Open'. In the pop up panel, make sure the dropdown option next to 'Show' is set to 'All Readable Documents'. Now you can select the RTF file and open it.
